Geographic Information Systems(GIS) are expected to facilitate the effective implementation of government programs such as Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Abhiyan. To establish health and wellness centers in underserved areas, GIS can help identify the locations that are underserved and track the effectiveness of various initiatives, including child immunizations, management, control, and preemptive measures against vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue.
